New York, New York（ニューヨーク、ニューヨーク）

This town accepted me for the first endeavor of new career, living and my identity.

この街は私の初めての人生の出発の、新しいキャリア（仕事）、生活、そして、私が誰なのかを受け止めてくれた。

I came here on year 1995, and it smiles on me since then. That is the New York…
１９９５年に降り立った時から、今でもずっと優しく微笑んでくれています。そんな街、ニューヨーク。

なんと前回のブログより5か月近くが経ってしまいました。その間、沢山の事があって、まずはアミカルテーブルのEコマースサイトを10月末に立ち上げ、全力を尽くしていました。もう無我夢中で、必死に。寝る時間も惜しんで、何もかえりみず、ひたすらに。まずはこの小さなお店をオープンして、少しでも人の役に立てることが出来ればという思いで。

そして、今はもう12月で、1年が終わりかけています。1か月半ほど過ぎて、まだまだやる事は沢山がありますが、少しずつ改善していきます。ニューヨークに住んでもう22年、こんな一年になるとは思いもよらなかったけれど、今までは大きな会社の一コマとして、何かのお役になっていた、そんな自分から、今は新しい自分で、起業家としての出発をしたばかり。期待と不安が混じりながら、毎日勉強し、精一杯今出来ることは何か、どうやったら、人のために働いて満足してもらえ、将来、社会奉仕が出来るようになれるのだろうかと考えています。

ニューヨークを歩くといつもと同じ活気があふれ、今はホリデーシーズンで活気が溢れています。
この街は変わらない。いろんな人があふれ、みんな精一杯頑張っている。だから私もこの地に降り立った時の気持ちを忘れず、そして夢を追いかけて、頑張っていこう。

Unbelievable! More than 5 months already passed from last posting. There were many things going on, and finally released e-commerce site, Amical Table at the end of October. Until then, I was doing my best and working so hard. Sleepless nights, no rewards, but just thinking of first launch of site – I really wanted to start something to be part of support for the people through my business of my small store.

Now, it is December, and close to end of year 2017. 1 month and half passed after opening, and I still have tons of stuffs, but I will keep working on enhancement with idea. I have been living in New York for more than 22 years, and I couldn’t even think of this new endeavor like this year – I was just small part of big company and somewhat I was helping for that people and company, but now, I just started new life as entrepreneur. Feeling complicated with uncertainty and excitement, learn many things everyday, and think of what I can do my best now, how I can work for the people to satisfy, and how I can serve for the society in the future.

Everytime I walk in New York city, it always fills with the excitement and many happenings here, and now, it is more lively on holiday season.
This city never changed. There are always many people, and everybody tries to achieve towards their dreams with their best. So…. I just remind of feeling myself for the time that I just landed on this city, and now I pursue my new dream again.

There are silver flags are all around the area, and many tourists there. It is exactly same decoration when I came to New York on 1995. Some stores around this area have changed and light show at Saks Fifth avenue (department store) is new performance.)
